The Flexpoint HS-1 presentation barcode scanner is ideally suited for healthcare and other applications that require hands-free barcode scanning.  Combining high-end performance and quality with an ergonomic and compact size, the Flexpoint HS-1 from JADAK provides aggressive scanning performance on linear (1D) and matrix (2D) barcodes.  This includes Databar / RSS / GS1 and other popular healthcare barcodes. The HS-1 is a member of a family of Flexpoint scanners that include RFID, MRI compatible and Wireless Bluetooth versions. Key features of the HS-1M include:

  • Desktop base with flex-neck that is available in different lengths
  • Desktop, Magnetic Base, IV Pole Mount and Shelf Clamping options available  (see the HS-1 product specification sheet)
  • Sealed Housing (IP54) – Keeps contaminants out of the scanner
  • Gunk Free Design – The smooth design features on the HS-1 reduce areas for gunk to collect
  • Medical Grade Plastic – The HS-1 housing is compatible with medical cleansers and will not degrade from repetitive cleanings
  • Tactile Feedback – A programmable vibrate mode can provide users feedback on a good read or if an error occurs
  • Compact Design – The HS-1 doesn’t take up valuable space when it isn’t being used
  • Easy Mounting – The HS-1 is easily mounted on medical carts, IV poles, desktops and walls
  • Hands-Free Mode – The HS-1 can be mounted in a presentation stand.  By simply presenting items, users can scan without having to pickup the scanner
