Introducing JADAK's flexpoint HS-1M

The flexpoint™ hs-1m from JADAK, is a hand held bar code scanner designed specifically for the healthcare market.

The hs-1m utilizes imaging technology to provide reliable and ergonomic reading of all popular linear (1D) and matrix (2D) bar codes, including bar codes used in the healthcare industry today such as Databar (aka GS1, RSS), Code 39, Code 128, Data Matrix, PDF417, and Aztec Code.

To address the need for single handed operation and improved wristband reading, the hs-1m is compatible with newer patient ID formats utilizing Aztec Code.

  Designed with input from nurses, the hs-1m has an ergonomic shape and size optimized to fit user’s hand with single button control for intuitive operation.
  
  Full-circle, 360 degree operation provides ergonomic scanning of barcodes no matter whatorientation they are in. Nurses no longer have to re-position the patients arm or contort themselves in order to scan a patient ID.


• IP Sealed, Disinfectant Compatible Housing
  The IP hs-1m sealed and disinfectant-ready the housing holds up to tough cleaning regiments.

  Three (3) Levels of Configurable Safety Feedback Mechanisms assist adherence to Patient’s 5 Rights Compliance:
  (1) Green & Red Status LEDs
  (2) Audible feedback
  (3) Vibration feedback
  All to alert the user if good or bad conditions exist (e.g. the wrong drug was scanned)

  Reliable design with no moving parts coupled with scanning technology that is compatible with current and future bar codes reduces the overhead associated with changing technologies.
