The ISO 15693 Tag Configuration panel lets you set tag configuration and memory locks.

To configure the tag:

  1. Assign an alias to the tag by typing into the Alias field
  2. Click on the “Change” button to assign the alias to the tag. SkyeWare then uses the alias to identify the tag.
  3. (Optional) Set the EAS:
    1. Select Enabled or Disabled from the pull-down menu.
    2. Click “Scan” to obtain the current EAS.
  4. (Optional) Set the DSFID by typing a new DSFID into the field.
  5. (Optional) Set the AFI by typing a new AFI into the field.
  6. (Optional) Lock selected memory blocks for the tag by clicking on the checkbox for each block to lock. Note that once memory blocks are locked, they cannot be unlocked.
  7. Click one one of the buttons at the bottom of the panel
  • “Apply” writes your changes to the tag.
  • “Discard” erases the current changes that have not been applied and redisplays the defaults.

Not all ISO 15693 tags do support EAS or DSFID. For these tags, reads and writes may fail for EAS and DSFID.
